Energy recovery and savings – Incinerators

The gases to be purified frequently contain large amounts of energy (typically thermal) that can be exploited with the right equipment. Enercon has designed and developed flue gas-air and flue gas-water heat exchangers to recover energy that would otherwise be lost. How does the heat exchanger work?

Heat exchange systems are able to recover heat, otherwise wasted, to supply water and/or hot air to the various production departments, offices or processes according to the customer’s needs, allowing consumption to be reduced and investments to be amortised very quickly. If the energy to be recovered is higher than certain thresholds for return on the investments, Enercon can also install systems for the production of electricity.

Construction of incinerators

Since 1984, Enercon has installed small incinerators for industrial and hospital waste in Italy, Belgium, Mexico and Venezuela. In the year 2000, in order to expand the range of products to be offered, Enercon took over the brand, know-how and patents of “IMEF”, market leader company for more than 30 years in the manufacture of incineration systems. This allowed Enercon to expand its production and construction of incineration systems.
